The Kellog's GAA Cul Camps will take place in Geevagh from the 2nd to the 6th of July. The camp is open to primary school children, both boys and girls, from 6-13 years of age. Applications forms are available from Teresa O’Rourke (0871369259). Our Senior men are home to Curry on Saturday at 7.30 and Junior men are home to St Johns on Friday evening at 8pm. Well done to our U16 girls who won the A league final on Saturday, they beat St Nathys by 2 points, this was a great performance by our girls. U12 girls where beaten by St Pats last Friday. U14 girls played CT Gaels on Monday evening their next game is away to Owenmore gaels next monday U8’s and u10’s girls and boys played Shamrock Gaels on last Wednesday, their next game is this Saturday in Markevicz Park at 1.30 against St Pats. Hard luck to our U16 team who were defeated by Ballymote in the U16 Shield Final played on Mon evening last. This was a great performance by our U16's who battled bravely right to the final whistle. Both the minors and U16's will have no games for a number of weeks due to the upcoming Junior Cert and Leaving Cert. We would like to wish every success to all our members who will be sitting these State exams in the coming weeks. U14 boys where beaten by St Pats on Thursday their next game is away to Bunninadden on thursday evening. U12 boys beat St Michaels last Tuesday evening and they play Ballymote next Tuesday in Geevagh at 7pm. |
